Begum Bazaar police arrested a repeat offender involved in multiple burglary cases and recovered stolen jewellery and cash worth Rs 30 lakh. The accused, Amar Sonkambale, was traced using surveillance camera footage after a recent burglary in Goshamahal.

Hyderabad: The Begum Bazaar police on Monday arrested a repeat offender involved in multiple burglary cases and recovered stolen material including jewelry and cash, altogether worth Rs 30 lakh.
The suspect, identified as Amar Sonkambale (20), who works as a waiter in a hotel, has as a criminal history and was previously involved in three house burglary cases and one Pocso case in Hyderabad.
According to police, Amar recently broke into a house at Hindi Nagar in Goshamahal and decamped with material worth Rs 10 lakh. He was traced with the help of footage from surveillance cameras and nabbed.
