Bewin FC triumph in women’s football tournament

The tournament was part of MB Sport’s goal to promote football across Hyderabad and Telangana. 

Hyderabad: Bewin Football Club prevailed over Women’s Football Foundation 3-2 in the final to emerge as champions in the three-day Women’s football tournament at Flipside Adventure Park. Organised by Hanaa Rahman of MB Sports, the tournament, first of its kind in the city, attracted eight teams.

The tournament was part of MB Sport’s goal to promote football across Hyderabad and Telangana.

Shabbir Ali, Dhyan Chand Awardee and former captain and coach of the Indian team, graced the occasion as chief guest. Hussain Abedi, former Indian football player, and  Padmini Nagulapalli, actress and film producer were present.
