BGUS seeks ex gratia for families who lost members during Ganesh immersions
Bhagyanagar Ganesh Utsav Samithi has sought financial assistance or ex gratia from the Telangana government for families who lost members during recent Ganesh immersion events. It also urged the government to bear medical expenses of those injured during the events

Hyderabad: Bhagyanagar Ganesh Utsav Samithi (BGUS) has sought financial assistance or ex gratia from the Telangana government for the families of those who lost their lives during recent Ganesh immersion events across the State.
A delegation from BGUS, led by president G Raghava Reddy and general secretary Ravinuthala Shashidhar, met Hyderabad district in-charge minister Ponnam Prabhakar on Saturday and submitted a representation.
BGUS also urged the government to bear the medical expenses of all those injured during the immersion events. It sought assistance for the affected families on humanitarian grounds.
