Bhadrachalam building collapse: body of second worker recovered from debris
The decomposed body of Padisala Upender of Lambadi Colony in Bhadrachalam was spotted by the rescue teams at around 2.20 am and shifted to the local Government Area Hospital. With this, the rescue operations concluded as no other bodies were found under the debris.

Kothagudem: Rescue teams retrieved the body of a second worker from the debris of a collapsed building at Bhadrachalam during the wee hours on Friday.
The decomposed body of Padisala Upender of Lambadi Colony in Bhadrachalam was spotted by the rescue teams at around 2.20 am and shifted to the local Government Area Hospital. With this, the rescue operations concluded as no other bodies were found under the debris.
It might be noted that the body of Ch Kameshwar Rao of Jagadish Colony was found during the early hours of Thursday. The Vijayawada NDRF team, the Singareni team, the fire department, local police and other administrative departments engaged in rescue efforts day and night for the past three days.
It might be recalled that a five-story under-construction building caved in on Wednesday afternoon hours at Super Bazaar Centre near the local gram panchayat office in the town. and two workers trapped under the debris. District Collector Jitesh V Patil, Superintendent of Police B Rohith Raju, additional SP Vikrant Kumar Singh and other officials monitored the rescue efforts.
The collapsed building was owned by an individual, Shaik Moulana alias Sripathi. It was alleged that it was being constructed in violation of rules. Leaders of different political parties demanded that police book criminal cases against Sripathi, besides asking for proper compensation for families of the deceased workers.
