Kothagudem: The counting of hundi collections at Sri Seetha Ramachandra Swamy Temple at Bhadrachalam in the district took place on the temple premises on Thursday.
Temple Executive Officer B Sivaji, in a statement, said the hundi income for the past 106 days was Rs 1.70 crore besides 170 grams of gold and two kg of silver. There were 397 US dollars, 20 British pounds, 100 Canadian dollars, 20 euros, 12 Singapore dollars, 4,600 Nigerian nairas, 100 Chinese yuans, 50 Saudi riyals, 10 Bhutanese ngultrums, five Bangladeshi takas and one Bahraini Dinar among the hundi collection. The last hundi counting took place on July 7, he said.
