Hyderabad: Star Maa and L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) Limited have come together to create a public safety awareness program with their marquee property of Bigg Boss Telugu.

“Bigg Boss Is Watching You” campaign intends to drive the precautionary steps while commuting in Hyderabad Metro Rail.  The public safety campaign has been executed in all 57 metro stations covering areas including concourse, entry exit, and check-in areas. Customized jingles with caution messages are being played in all metro trains.

The 100 days campaign period would enable all metro commuters to be aware of safety precautions to be taken during travel and at station premises.

Speaking on the launch, Akkineni Nagarjuna said, “Entertainment should have a purpose. And this campaign truly shows that Bigg Boss is entertaining and it rewards human emotions. An attempt to create more safety awareness through this campaign will add value to commuters. I’m happy that Star Maa and L&TMRHL have come forward with such novel initiations.”

KVB Reddy, MD & CEO, L&TMRHL, said “After our successful collaboration with Bigg Boss Season 3 in 2019, I would like to thank Star Maa and Bigg Boss Telugu Season 5 for this another exciting season of collaboration with Hyderabad Metro Rail. As part of this association, we have also rolled out the ‘Bigg Boss is Watching You’ campaign at our metro stations to amplify Covid safety awareness and safe travel practices among the public at large and build a strong passenger connection. This initiative would also encourage Smart Travel habits among passengers by choosing metro smart cards and mobile QR tickets for a safe and convenient journey. “

The Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited recently revised its timings and the first set of trains would leave at 6 am from their respective orientating stations. The last Metro trains would leave at 10.15 pm every day, and reach their destinations at around 11.15 pm.
