Hyderabad: The Rachakonda Cybercrime police arrested a Bihar native on charges of harassing and threatening a woman from Abdullapurmet on social media.
The suspect, Mohd Israel, a construction worker and resident of Abdullapurmet and the woman, who works at a local market, were allegedly in an extramarital relationship. Police said the suspect often pressurized the woman to make video calls and talk to him for long hours. She refused to do so.
Bearing a grudge, he threatened to send their intimate pictures and videos to her husband and other relatives. The victim approached the police, after which Israel was arrested.
