Bihar tile mason killed at real estate venture near Hyderabad
A 26-year-old tile mason from Bihar was found murdered at a construction site in Kothur on Hyderabad’s outskirts. Police suspect he was attacked with a heavy object while asleep. Two co-workers have been detained for questioning as investigation continues
Hyderabad: A tile worker was found murdered at a real estate venture in Kothur on the city outskirts on Tuesday.
The victim, identified as Mohd Shamsu (26) from Bihar, had been working as a tile mason at an under-construction building site for the past few weeks.
According to the police, Shamsu had slept at the site along with his co-workers on Monday night. He was found dead on Tuesday morning with severe head injuries, suspected to have been caused by a heavy object.
On being alerted, the Kothur police reached the spot and began an investigation. Two co-workers have been detained by the police for questioning. The motive behind the murder is yet to be known.
