Bike rider dies in an accident in Khammam’s Yerrupalem, bike burnt fully
A pastor riding a motorbike died in a road accident at Pegallapadu, Khammam, after a speeding car hit and dragged his bike, causing it to catch fire. Investigation is underway.

Khammam: A bike rider died on the spot and his motorbike was burnt fully in a road accident on a flyover at Pegallapadu on Yerrupalem to Madhira road in the district on Sunday.
According to the local SI, M Ramesh the deceased Jnana Prakash (48) of Meenavolu village in Yerrupalem mandal was travelling on his Royal Enfield bike to go to Madhira, where he works as a pastor in Seventh Day Church.
The motorbike was hit forcibly by a speeding car coming in the opposite direction and dragged the bike to a distance on the road. The impact caused the bike to catch fire. The car was being driven by S Shivakrishna Reddy, who works as a supervisor in the Greenfield highway project.
Based on the complaint given by the deceased man’s brother, N Davidu, a case was registered and an investigation into the incident was launched, the SI said. The deceased man’s family members staged a dharna on the road demanding justice to the family.
