Biker killed after crashing into opened car door in Telangana’s Paloncha
A biker died on the spot in Paloncha after crashing into a car door that was opened suddenly by the vehicle owner, who had stopped to buy corn. Police booked the car owner, while the pillion rider was hospitalised with injuries

Kothagudem: A car owner whose negligent act allegedly caused the death of a biker at Paloncha in the district on Tuesday was booked by police.
According to the police, the car owner, S Raghunatha Reddy of Sarapaka in Burgampahad mandal, was said to have stopped his car on the road at Peddammatalli temple area on Kothagudem-Bhadrachalam stretch to buy corn from a roadside vendor.
He reportedly opened the car door without checking for oncoming traffic. A biker who was coming behind also failed to notice the opened car door and hit it as a result of which he fell from the motor bike.
The biker, S Raghavender Reddy of Morampalli Banjar in Burgampahad mandal, suffered a serious head injury and died on the spot. Pillion rider Avula Maheshwar Reddy who suffered bleeding injuries was shifted to Paloncha Government Hospital.
Paloncha rural police booked a case against Raghunatha Reddy and launched an investigation.
