Hyderabad: The birth anniversary celebrations of Garimella Balakrishna Prasad were held at Shilparamam here on Saturday. Garimella Balakrishna Prasad dedicated his life to the propagation of Annamayya keertanas across the State.
The event was attended by Gandham Sankar Rao, Nihal Konduri, Kuchi Saishankar and Rangarajan, the chief pujari of Chilkur Balaji temple, among others. Music aficionados, and students from Matangi School of Arts, Prakhya Arts and other institutions also took part in the celebrations.
