Hyderabad: BITS Pilani, Hyderabad campus, hosted the Indo-French conference on ‘Cross Fertilization between Academia and Industry: Towards Safer and Efficient Catalytic Processes’.
The event, supported by the Indo-French Centre for the Promotion of Advanced Research, coincided with the diamond jubilee celebration of BITS Pilani, marking 60 years of academic excellence.
The event aimed at fostering collaboration between academic institutions and industry leaders, emphasizing the critical role of catalytic processes in environmental protection and sustainable energy generation.
The conference brought together leading experts in catalysis and reaction engineering. Participants delved into both fundamental and applied research, exploring innovative solutions for sustainable development.
With distinguished speakers, interactive workshops, and networking sessions, attendees exchanged cutting-edge research and strengthened ties between Indian and French scientists.
“Through this conference, we aspire to not only share knowledge but also to cultivate friendships among catalyst scientists and engineers,” said Dr. Sounak Roy from BITS Pilani. The event concludes on Saturday.
