Hyderabad: Malkajgiri MP and BJP senior leader Eatala Rajender demanded Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy to quit and tender unconditional apology to people for failing to fulfill electoral promises.

“If you cannot manage things and run the government just resign. Someone more eligible will takeover and fulfill the promises,” Eatala Rajender said at a press conference here on Tuesday.

In 2014, Telangana’s own tax revenue was Rs.30,000 crore. In the last 11 years, it increased to Rs.1.30 crore. Is this bankruptcy. Similarly, the State annual budget escalated from Rs.1 lakh crore to Rs.3 lakh crore. Is this bankruptcy, the former Finance Minister asked.

The Chief Minister’s statements had left entire Telangana ashamed and the State’s reputation was also lost. These statements proved his intellectual bankruptcy and that he was a habitual lair, he said, appealing to the people to check Revanth Reddy’s claims and get clarity.

Despite the failure, if the Chief Minister insists to continue, people would teach a lesson to him at an appropriate time. Till then, they would bear the Chief Minister for committing the misake of electing him as their leader, he said.

The BJP MP slammed the Chief Minister for warning the employees unions and RTC unions for announcing their strike plans.
