Sangareddy: An alleged extramarital affair between two BJP leaders has reportedly led to the murder of a man by his wife and her paramour, along with three of their accomplices in Sangareddy district.
The victim, M Narayana (45), a native of Mallupally of Bhiknur mandal in Kamareddy district, was working in a factory at Borapatla in Hathnoora mandal. He lived in Reddy Khanapur village close to his workplace with his wife Lakshmi and two children.
Since his wife, Lakshmi (40), was working as BJP Mahila Morcha president of Bhiknur, she used to shuttle between Bhiknur and Reddy Khanapur quite frequently. She reportedly had an affair with Kadari Rakesh (28), SC Morcha president of Bhiknur.
Narayana, who left home on Thursday to buy liquor, did not return home. Lakshmi filed a missing complaint at Hathnoora police station on January 25. Meanwhile, the police found a body at Palpanur on Monday, which was later identified as that of Narayana.
Police said unidentified people smashed his head with boulders, resulting in his death. During the inquiry, the police found that Rakesh, with the help of his accomplices Chettipalli Sagar, Kadari Srikanth and Dappu Srikanth, eliminated Narayana. The accused have reportedly been taken into custody. The probe is on.
