Hyderabad: State BJP chief spokesperson K Krishna Saagar Rao on Sunday why AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi was rattled by a remark made by RSS Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat that Indian Muslims were more content than anywhere else in the world.

The RSS chief made these comments on Saturday, days after the European Parliament’s Subcommittee on Human Rights cautioned India against targeting religious minorities in the country, particularly Muslims.

In a statement here on Sunday, Rao said that it was quite evident that “Asaduddin can’t stand the contentment and happiness of Muslim community in India. “Their well-being and empowerment doesn’t fetch political returns to his party AIMIM. His party’s core agenda is to brainwash the Muslims in India to make them feel that they are marginalised by Hindu majority,” he said.

‘Sab ka Saath – Sabka Vikas’ is the agenda of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and it is being implemented through all national schemes, which are equally benefitting Muslims across the nation, he said.
