Karimnagar: Welfare Minister Koppula Eshwar on Tuesday said the BJP was trying to create tension in society for its own political gains.

The Minister, participating in a rally in Dharmaram of Jammikunta mandal, said while Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao was taking steps to ensure welfare of all sections of society, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was trying to disturb the peace.

“While Chandrashekhar Rao has adopted the development mantra, Modi is selling the country. To protect the interests of farmers, the Chief Minister is supplying 24-hour-free power to the agriculture sector, but the Centre is conspiring to fix meters on agriculture pump sets,” he said.
People were unable to purchase essential commodities due to spurt in the price of petrol, diesel and LPG gas.

Unfortunately, former Minister Eatala Rajender joined the BJP, which was against SC, ST, BC and Minorities. Would people support that leader? He questioned and wanted the public to support Chandrashekhar Rao, who was striving hard for the development of downtrodden sections.

Talking about Dalit Bandhu, Minister asked the people not to believe false propaganda being spread by the opposition parties against the scheme. Under the scheme, Rs 10 lakh would be deposited in the bank accounts of dalit women.
