Karimnagar: BJP state president Bandi Sanjay Kumar demanded that the state government resume the implementation of Dalit Bandhu scheme in Huzurabad assembly constituency from November 4 as promised earlier.

Speaking to reporters here on Wednesday, Sanjay said as the election commission put on hold the implementation of the scheme in the wake of by-poll, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao promised to resume the scheme from November 4.

So, the Chief Minister should resume the scheme on Thursday as promised. Promising to extend support to the government in implementation of the scheme, he warned of waging an agitation if the scheme was not resumed. MLA elect Eatale Rajender would start agitation from Huzurabad constituency itself. As promised by the Chief Minister, a similar scheme for the upliftment of BC, ST, and poor among upper caste people should also be launched.

Despite different kinds of allurements by the ruling party, Huzurabad people elected Rajender by supporting dharma. Agitational spirit of Rajender helped him to win the by-election. BJP leaders and workers including union minister Kishan Reddy worked hard for the victory of BJP during the last four months. Informing that BJP managed to improve its voting percentage, Sanjay said out of four by-elections held for Huzurnagar, Nagarjunasagar, Dubbaka and Huzurabad, BJP managed to capture two seats of the ruling party.

As announced earlier, BJP has decided to organize a Million March in Hyderabad on November 12 if the government fails to give notifications to recruit vacant jobs in various government departments by November 4. He requested all student JACs, youth wings, voluntary organizations and others to take part in the million march and make it a big success. Sanjay informed to start the second phase of Praja Sangram Yatra from November 21.

When asked about BJP and Congress collation in Huzurabad by-polls, he denied the allegation and. It was BJP which was fighting against the congress across the country. bother TRS and congress leaders would work jointly on some issues, he alleged.

Huzurabad people taught KCR a lesson: Rajender

BJP leader and MLA elect, Eatala Rajender said that Huzurabad people expressed their inner feelings by electing him in the by-election.

Addressing a press conference in Huzurabad on Wednesday, he said, besides offering money and liquor, voters were divided on the lines of caste and other aspects by the ruling party to win the by-election. Setting aside all gimmicks and threats by the ruling party, local people taught a befitting lesson to Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, he added.

Stating that hundreds worked behind the screen for his victory, he said that the working class celebrated his victory as the victory of all people. Scores of students from Osmania and Kakatiya universities also extended their support to him and tricks played by the Chief Minister were given proper reply on social media platforms, he said and thanked Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya for visiting Huzurabad..

Not only people from Huzurabad, the entire Telugu society across the world wished for his victory, he said. Instead of November 4, people celebrated Diwali on Tuesday when the by-election results were announced, he added and assured people that he would strive to solve their problems in the future.

The BJP welcomed him when he was sent away from TRS party and Union Home Minister Amit Shah provided guidance and extended all kinds of cooperation. Reviewing the local issues frequently, BJP national president JP Nadda made advice through party State president Bandi Sanjay Kumar.
