Hyderabad: State BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Saturday said the party would take necessary steps to ensure that the government purchase each paddy grain in the State and render justice to farmers.
“We will fight till each paddy grain is purchased from farmers,” he said. Addressing people during a public meeting organized during his ‘Praja Sangrama’ yatra, which entered 29th day on Saturday in Rajanna Sircilla district, he said a ‘million march’ would be organized with youth if the government did not provide jobs to unemployed by ‘Deepavali’.
He requested the government to come to the rescue of unemployed youth in the State and provide employment opportunities to them keeping in view the problems being faced them.
Sanjay said he was patiently listening to the peoples’ problems during his yatra, which started from Sri Bhagyalakshmi temple near Charminar. He said many youth complained to him the problems being faced by them due to lack of jobs to them.
“We will leave no stone unturned in getting proper employment opportunities to the youth,” he said, demanding that the State government release required funds to the sarpanches.
At a separate press conference at the party headquarters here, BJP MLA M Raghunandan Rao demanded that the State government come up with a sports policy.
