BJP’s Raja Singh approaches police against Devi Sri Prasad
In his complaint, the MLA stated that the music director had said that he has no differentiation between an item song and devotional song.
Hyderabad: The BJP’s Goshamahal legislator T Raja Singh has lodged a complaint against Tollywood music director Devi Sri Prasad for hurting the sentiments of a particular community by making a devotional song to the tune of an item number.
In his complaint, the MLA stated that the music director had said that he has no differentiation between an item song and devotional song. The song composed by the music director hurt the sentiments of the Hindu community, he alleged, demanding the police to initiate action against the music director immediately.
The complaint was lodged with City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar.
