Black buck found dead under suspicious circumstances in Sangareddy
A black buck was found dead under suspicious circumstances near Shikhar Khana village in Sangareddy district on Monday. Forest officials and a veterinarian examined the carcass and said the animal died after a sharp object pierced its body accidentally.

Sangareddy: A black buck was found dead under suspicious circumstances on the outskirts of Shikhar Khana village on Monday. Black bucks and spotted deer are regular sightings along the River Manjeera in these parts of Sangareddy district. Villagers found an adult male black buck with a suspected bullet injury.
Following a complaint from the villagers, forest officials led by Forest Range Officer (FRO) Anuradha reached the village. The veterinarian who conducted a postmortem on the carcass found that the injury was caused accidentally. Anuradha said that some sharp object had pierced the animal’s body, leading to its death. The carcass was buried in the forest area following prescribed guidelines.
