Rajanna-Sircilla: The body of a toddy tapper, Balasani Thirupati Goud (51), who fell into a well on Sunday, was retrieved on Tuesday morning.
A native of Jillella of Sircilla mandal, Thirupati Goud accidentally fell into the well on Sunday evening when he was climbing a palm tree adjacent to the well.
Villagers informed the police who along with revenue officials launched a rescue operation and retrieved the body at around 7 am on Tuesday after rescue operation that lasted for two days.
