Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy has assured that all bogus registrations would be thwarted and the middlemen system would go in the state.
Inaugurating the immovable property registration services of 37 villages from his camp office in Tadepalli of Guntur district here on Tuesday, he said survey record and ownership certificate papers in villages would be provided and the immovable property registration process would be taken up at all village secretariats.
Consequent on receiving several complaints of tampering of land records, the government decided to go ahead with the Jagananna Saswatha Bhoohakku (permanent land rights), Bhoo Raksha Pathakam (land protection scheme) and the dispute-free comprehensive land survey was completed in 51 villages in the first phase in a scientific manner, which was the first of its kind in the country, he noted. The resurvey would be completed in 11,501 villages by december this year. “The transaction of your properties and registrations can be done in a transparent manner in your village,” he said.
