Bomb threat causes panic at Raj Bhavan, civil courts in Hyderabad
Authorities received a bomb threat via email targeting Raj Bhavan, City Civil Courts, and other key locations in Hyderabad. The mail, sent early Tuesday, triggered panic. Police conducted checks and confirmed there were no explosives. Investigation is underway.

Hyderabad: Panic prevailed at four prominent places in the city, including Raj Bhavan, after a bomb threat mail was received by the authorities on Tuesday.
As per available information, around 4 am, a mail was sent to the official IDs of the Chief Judge, City Civil Courts, Gymkhana Club Hyderabad, Raj Bhavan and Judges Chambers, claiming that explosives were planted on their premises. The sender, named ‘Abdia Abdulla’, claimed the explosives would detonate soon after the courts started.
However, the court authorities noticed the mail only around noon and immediately informed the local police.
Following the alert, the local police and bomb squad reached the locations and began checking for any explosive substances.
All the judges, advocates and staff vacated the premises. Citizens in the area were also informed about the situation.
Authorities, staff and citizens heaved a sigh of relief when police confirmed that there was no bomb after extensive checks at all locations.
