Brar squadron bags Commandant’s Banner at AFA Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Brar squadron has bagged the commandant’s banner during a presentation ceremony organised at the Tejas Parade Ground, Air Force Academy (AFA) on Thursday.
Squadron cadet captain flight cadet Aditya Kumar Dubey of Brar Squadron received the banner from AFA Commandant Air Marshal Praveen Keshav Vohra. The award symbolises overall excellence and marks the conclusion of a fiercely contested series of events, ranging from physical activities, sports, debate, quiz, cross-country run, field camps, drill competition, and academics.
Desa Squadron won the inter-squadron drill competition with flawless drill movements, impressive words of command, and synchronised team effort. In his address to flight cadets and UTFOs, Keshav Vohra lauded their teamwork, camaraderie, enthusiasm, sporting spirit, and competitive streak. He exhorted them to be physically fit and mentally agile throughout their careers.
The Commandant also appreciated the instructors for their crucial role in transforming the cadets into confident and competent future officers ready to face future challenges.
