Hyderabad: St Francis Girls’ High School, Secunderabad, a major landmark for the twin cities in the field of education, is celebrating its 175th anniversary on Tuesday, December 9, 2025.
To commemorate the historic milestone, the St Francis Girls High School, which was founded in 1850, is holding a Gratitude Day on Tuesday, dedicated to honouring and thanking former Provincial Superiors, former correspondents, retired teachers, benefactors, and support staff.
Cardinal Archbishop Poola Anthony will lead the holy mass and bless one and all in the Gratitude Day, the senior management of St Francis Girls’ High School, in a press release on Monday.
The Annual Day celebrations will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2025, in the presence of the Governor of Telangana, Jishnu Dev Varma. The event will showcase the school’s excellence, unity, and cultural richness. The talent of the students will be on full display as they celebrate the school’s journey through inspiring performances, music, and dance.
