Hyderabad: Hyderabad enjoyed a sunny Tuesday, with cloudy sky. While there were very light showers at a few places, most of the city remained dry.
The maximum temperature in the city recorded on Monday was 33.6 degree Celsius, whereas the lowest minimum temperature on Tuesday morning was 22 degree Celsius.
The area under Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) received 406.8 mm rainfall since the start of the monsoon season, against the normal 301.7 mm, which is 34.8 per cent in excess.
The Telangana State Development Planning Society (TSDPS) forecast for the next couple of days looks at Hyderabad receiving light to moderate showers at isolated places. The maximum temperature in the city during the period is expected to be between 31 degree Celsius and 33 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature will be in the range 21 degree Celsius to 23 degree Celsius.
A few districts of Telangana also recorded light to moderate rains on Tuesday. While Rajanna Sircilla, Warangal Rural, Rangareddy, Adilabad and Nalgonda witnessed very light showers, Jaggasagar in Jagtial recorded the highest rain of 2.3 mm.
