Nalgonda: Telangana Rythu Sangam State general secretary T Sagar on Tuesday urged the Centre to bring a law to ensure Minimum Support Price (MSP) to the crops produced by farmers in the country.
Speaking at the district level meeting of the Sangam at Nalgonda, Sagar said that the withdrawal of three farm laws by the Centre was a historic victory achieved by the farmers through their agitation. In the same spirit, the farmers should also agitate for a law for MSP. He underlined the need for legality to MSP for the benefit of farmers in the country.
He also urged the Centre to lift cases filed against the farmers, who participated in the agitation against new farm laws. The Centre should also withdraw the Electricity Amendment Act.
