Hyderabad: The British Council is inviting students from India to join the Study UK Pre-Departure Briefing on July 16 from 3 pm to 5. The virtual session is designed exclusively for students who have received a conditional or unconditional offer from a UK higher education institution for the Autumn/Winter 2026 intake.

The briefing will provide students with essential information and guidance to help ensure a smooth transition to life in the UK. Students will gain practical advice on visa applications, accommodation, travel preparations, health and wellbeing, and student life, while also hearing directly from UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI), British Universities’ International Liaison Association (BUILA), UK alumni, and current students.

The students will receive guidance on travel arrangements, packing essentials, budgeting, and adjusting to life in the UK, and learn about healthcare services, insurance, safety measures, and mental health support available for international students in the UK. Representatives from UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) will provide the latest guidance on the student visa application process and answer student queries.

To register for the Study UK Pre-Departure Briefing, students can visit the Study UK website to view the details of the session and complete the registration form.
