Kothagudem: Former minister Vanama Venkateswara Rao has strongly condemned the announcement of mandal party presidents by BRS party district president Rega Kantha Rao in Kothagudem assembly constituency.
The former MLA, the in-charge of Kothagudem constituency, said he was neither consulted nor informed by the party district president about appointing mandal presidents for Chunchupally mandal-1, Chunchupally mandal-2 and Sujatha Nagar mandal in the constituency.
Venkateswara Rao maintained that having served from ward member to minister and being four times MLA, he has never committed such acts and has not done factional politics in the party. He only worked to strengthen the party in Kothagudem constituency by following the orders of the BRS chief K Chandrashekhar Rao and working president KT Rama Rao.
