Women voters surpass men in Jubilee Hills bye-election polling booths
Women voters outnumbered men across nine polling stations in Tolichowki, Shaikpet, Anjaiah Nagar, Vinaya Nagar and Vinobha Nagar during the Jubilee Hills bye-election held on November 11. Booth-level data showed women consistently casting more votes than men, with narrow margins in several locations.

Hyderabad: Women voters outnumbered men voters across nine polling stations in Tolichowki slum, Shaikpet, Anjaiah Nagar, Vinaya Nagar and Vinobha Nagar during polling held on November 11 in the Jubilee Hills bye-election.
At the Government Upper Primary School in Tolichowki slum, 262 women cast their votes compared to 250 men. In Shaikpet’s Samatha Colony at Apex High School, 242 women voted against 215 men in one booth and 255 women against 245 men in a second booth.
Anjaiah Nagar Government Primary School recorded 222 women votes and 214 men votes, while Shaikpet Government High School saw 264 women votes and 259 men votes.
At Ushodaya High School in Vinaya Nagar, one booth recorded 340 women votes and 338 men votes, and another recorded 314 women votes and 310 men votes. In Vinobha Nagar Government Primary School, Shaikpet, women voters numbered 278 against 276 men in one booth and 296 against 287 in another.
Meanwhile, the by-poll also had 10 polling stations recording a substantial number of votes.
