Hyderabad: Former Minister V Srinivas Goud on Wednesday said the BRS fully supports RTC employees and workers in their strike for their just demands. He urged the state government to immediately hold talks to resolve their issues.

Speaking to the media at Telangana Bhavan here, Srinivas Goud said several political parties and sections of society stand with RTC employees. He criticised the government for not resolving their demands, stating that their problems reflect larger public concerns.

He recalled the key role played by RTC workers during the Telangana statehood movement and said their contribution should not be ignored. He added that during the BRS regime, efforts were made to address RTC issues through Cabinet discussions. He urged the government to prioritise dialogue and resolve the RTC workers’ grievances at the earliest.
