Hyderabad: BRS leader Ravula Sridhar Reddy called out Union Minister of State for Home Bandi Sanjay for degrading the dignity of the Union Cabinet with his baseless and defamatory remarks against BRS president K Chandrashekhar Rao and working president KT Rama Rao. He termed Sanjay unfit for the Union Cabinet and warned of severe consequences if the latter continued his rhetoric.

Addressing a press meet at Telangana Bhavan on Saturday, Sridhar Reddy said Sanjay should be admitted to a mental hospital for his recent statements. The Union Minister lacked basic knowledge on key issues, but was using the media for cheap publicity.

“Despite being a Union Minister, he failed to speak on Telangana’s development in the Parliament. He did not bring a single major project to the State,” he added.

The BRS leader charged that Sanjay’s conduct had corrupted the BJP, turning it into a B-team for the Congress. He ridiculed the BJP leader for passing time by challenging opposition leaders to take oath in a temple on some issue or other, rather than addressing people’s problems.

“Show your strength by winning half the MPTC seats in Karimnagar before making tall claims,” Sridhar Reddy said.
