BRS candidate’s harvested crop set on fire in Bejjur
Unidentified persons set fire to paddy heaps belonging to BRS candidate Dharavath Mahesh in Marthidi village of Bejjur mandal. Police have registered a case and begun investigation. BRS leader RS Praveen Kumar condemned the act and demanded immediate arrests

Kumram Bheem Asifabad: Unidentified persons set fire on paddy crop belonging to a BRS candidate contesting in Marthidi village of Bejjur mandal, on Saturday.
Police said that the persons set heaps of the crop harvested recently on fire. The crop raised in 2 acres belonged to Dharavath Mahesh contesting from Maharashtra. A case was registered and investigation taken up.
Meanwhile, BRS leader Dr RS Praveen Kumar condemned the incident and demanded the police to take stern action against the culprits. He wanted the police to arrest the perpetrators immediately. He regretted that the village had been witnessing similar hooliganism for several years and the police had failed to check the menace.
