Unidentified persons set fire to paddy heaps belonging to BRS candidate Dharavath Mahesh in Marthidi village of Bejjur mandal. Police have registered a case and begun investigation. BRS leader RS Praveen Kumar condemned the act and demanded immediate arrests

The three were returning after attending a function in Bombaiguda village in Penchikalpet mandal at the time of the accident.
