BRS demands full disclosure of Ghose Commission report on Kaleshwaram project
The BRS party, led by former Minister T. Harish Rao, has formally requested the state government to release the complete 665-page report submitted by the Justice PC Ghose Commission on the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Scheme (KLIS). Petitions were submitted on behalf of both Harish Rao and former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao.
Hyderabad: The BRS on Friday sought a complete copy of the Justice PC Ghose Commission’s report on the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project (KLIS), which has been submitted to the State government.
Former Minister and BRS senior leader T Harish Rao met Chief Secretary K Ramakrishna Rao at the State Secretariat, and submitted separate petitions on behalf of former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and himself, requesting the 665-page report.
He obtained receipts confirming the submission of the petitions. Sources said the Chief Secretary assured them that he would look into the request and respond appropriately. BRS legislators Kaleru Venkatesh, Mutha Gopal, Bandaru Laxma Reddy, and MLC Deshpathi Srinivas accompanied Harish Rao during the meeting.
