Mancherial: The BRS leader Balka Suman on Friday said that he would not fear cases, but would continue to fight against the government.
Speaking to the media while attending a court in connection with a case registered against him during elections to Kyathanpalli municipality, he alleged that he was implicated in false cases for trying to save democracy in Kyathanpalli municipal polls. He said the BRS-CPI councillors did not give up even though crores of rupees and blank cheques were offered.
The BRS leader said he was jailed for raising his voice in support of the welfare of SCCL’s coal miners and for launching movements against the government. On the other hand, no action was taken against the Congress leaders and Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy for making objectionable comments against the BRS leaders.
He regretted that the BRS cadres were subjected to harassment for posting on social media platforms. He charged that the government was acting as if there was one law for Opposition leaders and another law for ruling party leaders.
