BRS leader dies of heart attack while dancing at wedding procession
Senior BRS leader Cholleti Kishan Reddy died of a heart attack while dancing at a wedding procession in Pothireddypet village of Huzurabad mandal. Villagers said he had a history of heart problems and may have suffered a stroke triggered by loud music
Karimnagar: In a tragic incident, senior BRS leader Cholleti Kishan Reddy died of a heart attack while dancing at a marriage procession in Pothireddypet village of Huzurabad mandal on Friday night.
According to villagers, the wedding of his close relative Ragotham Reddy’s daughter was held in Hanamkonda on Friday, and a marriage procession was organised in Pothireddypet later that night. While dancing, Kishan Reddy suddenly collapsed. He was immediately shifted to Huzurabad hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.
Villagers said he had earlier undergone treatment for heart-related ailments and opined that he might have suffered a heart stroke, possibly triggered by loud DJ music, which led to his collapse.
Kishan Reddy, a long-time member of the BRS, had earlier served as chairman of the LMD project.
