BRS leader Gandam Narayana electrocuted in Peddapalli

Peddapalli: A farmer and BRS leader Gandam Narayana (53) was electrocuted in his agricultural fields at Mallapur in Dharmaram mandal on Friday.
According to police, Narayana accidentally touched the electric wire of an agricultural pump set around 7 am and fell to the ground. He was immediately taken to a hospital by his son, Akshay, where doctors declared him brought dead.
However, Narayana’s wife, Varalaxmi, expressed doubts over the circumstances of his death and lodged a complaint with the police. Following her complaint, the authorities registered a case and initiated an investigation, said SI M. Praveen Kumar.
