Hyderabad: Bharat Rashtra Samithi, minority leader, Mukheed Chanda, came down heavily on the Congress government in the State for failing to take steps to prevent suicides and food poisoning instances in the Telangana Minorities Residential Educational Institutional Society (TMREIS).

“While the students are suffering after consuming stale food, the Chief Minister, A Revanth Reddy, was busy with preparations for footballer Messi. The Congress government is more interested in pumping money for showbiz while ignoring the plight of students who come from poor families,” said Mukheed Chanda.

The minority leader said the children from poor families were benefiting through the TMREIS schools during the BRS government. “A conspiracy is being hatched to close down the TMREIS by the Congress party,” he alleged.

The BRS minority leaders will soon be visiting the TMREIS school in the State and will prepare a fact-finding report.
