Jagtial: BRS leaders on Saturday inspected the venue for the party president K Chandrashekhar Rao’s public meeting scheduled to be held in Jagtial on April 20. The BRS has decided to organise a huge public meeting to induct senior political leader T Jeevan Reddy into the party fold in the presence of the party chief K Chandrashekhar Rao.

The party leaders, including Koppula Eashwar, T Jeevan Reddy, district president K Vidhyasagar Rao, MLC L Ramana, MLA K Sanjay, Dava Vasanth and others, examined a place at Mothe.

Speaking on the occasion, Eashwar said that a messy situation has prevailed in the State within a span of two years. Not a single poll promise of the ruling party has been implemented, he said.

The Jagtial meeting is going to become an eye-opener for the Congress party, he said and hoped that the BRS would strengthen further in north Telangana with the joining of Jeevan Reddy.

Informing that about one lakh people would take part in the public meeting, he said that BRS president K Chandrashekhar Rao will address the gathering.
