Hyderabad: With just three days remaining for the campaign to end, senior BRS leaders descended on the Jubilee Hills constituency in full strength on Thursday to campaign for the party candidate Maganti Sunitha Gopinath.
Former Ministers P Sabitha Indra Reddy, Vemula Prashanth Reddy, Gangula Kamalakar and Koppula Eshwar, along with MLAs Marri Rajasekhar Reddy, KP Vivekananda, Madhavaram Krishna Rao, D Sudheer Reddy, former MLAs T Jeevan Reddy, Shakeel Aamir Mohammed, and other senior leaders, took part in door-to-door campaigns and interactive meetings with voters across the constituency including Borabanda, Shaikpet, Rahmathnagar, Yousufguda and Erragadda divisions among others.
Interacting with locals in small groups, the BRS leaders appealed to residents to support Maganti Sunitha, pointing to the rapid development achieved under the decade-long BRS regime compared to the non-performing and chaotic Congress rule over the last two years. They accused the ruling Congress of neglecting public welfare and halting growth initiatives launched by the K Chandrashekhar Rao government.
Sabitha Indra Reddy said the Jubilee Hills constituency witnessed comprehensive development during Maganti Gopinath’s tenure.
“Every section of society benefited from BRS welfare schemes. The Congress government has failed to deliver even a single meaningful project in two years. People must now vote for the Car symbol to bring the Congress to its senses,” she said.
Kukatpally MLA Madhavaram Krishna Rao, who led the campaign in the Erragadda division, urged voters to ‘teach the Congress a lesson’ for making false promises and to elect Maganti Sunitha with a resounding majority.
