Siddipet: As a mark of protest on the Congress government’s failure to keep their promises made during the election campaign, the BRS leaders and cadre presented a representation to the statues of Mahatma Gandhi at various places across the erstwhile Medak district on Thursday.
Since the Congress government made 420 promises, and the government completed 420 days at the helm on Friday, the BRS cadre launched a unique protest to expose the government’s failures. The BRS cadre garlanded the statues of Mahatma Gandhi before presenting the representation in Siddipet town.
Speaking on the occasion, party town president Garipally Mahipal Goud said that they decided to present the complaint to statue as the Congress leaders and elected representatives of the ruling party were refusing to listen to anything from opposition parties and people. He wished that the government would change its working style and fulfill all its promises in the days to come.
