Hyderabad: BRS leaders on Friday filed a complaint with the Cyber Crimes police in Hyderabad, accusing the ruling Congress of running a political social media campaign against BRS functionaries from government offices in the State. They presented documentary evidence to the police, seeking stringent and immediate action.
BRS leader Putta Vishnuvardhan Reddy said the ruling party was misusing Hyderabad Growth Corridor Limited (HGCL) premises for political purposes. “Government office space is being used to indulge in mudslinging and character assassination of BRS president K Chandrashekhar Rao and working president KT Rama Rao,” he said, criticising the government for its abuse of power.
Calling it unfortunate in a democracy, he said they had submitted documentary evidence to the Central Cybercrime Station and urged authorities to act against the perpetrators.
