Sangareddy: BRS leaders, including MLAs, strongly condemned former MLC K Kavitha’s criticism of former Minister T Harish Rao on Wednesday.
Following her suspension from the party, Kavitha addressed a press conference in Hyderabad alleging that Harish Rao had acted against the BRS’s interests. However, her remarks drew sharp opposition from party leaders across the erstwhile Medak district.
In separate press statements, Dubbak MLA Kotha Prabhakar Reddy and Sangareddy MLA Chintha Prabhakar defended Harish Rao, describing him as one of the most steadfast leaders of the party.
Prabhakar Reddy said Harish Rao had remained loyal to former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao since the party’s formation in 2001. Chintha Prabhakar added that Harish Rao had continued to stay committed to the party even when he was denied a cabinet post after the 2018 Assembly elections.
