Hyderabad: The BRS party bracing to organise its silver jubilee celebrations, will hold an extended State-level executive meeting on February 19.
The meeting, scheduled to commence at 1 pm, will be held at Telangana Bhavan.
The meeting will be chaired by party president and former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, who issued directions to party working president KT Rama Rao on Thursday.
The meeting is expected to bring together the party’s leaders at all levels, including the State executive committee, district party presidents, present and former MPs, legislative council members, MLAs, corporation chairpersons, district parishad chairpersons, DCCB and DCMS presidents, and party constituency in-charges.
The discussions at the meeting will focus on several important issues. As the BRS Party approaches its 25th anniversary, plans for the Silver Jubilee celebrations will be a primary agenda item.
The meeting will also address the registration of party membership and the structural organisation of the party.
Rama Rao highlighted that this gathering would provide a platform for an extensive discussion on these constructive issues.
The session will also focus on the State’s current political situation with emphasis on the Congress party’s policies, which the BRS leadership considers anti-people, and the failures of the State government.
The party aims to formulate a comprehensive strategy to expose these shortcomings and effectively mobilize its cadres to raise awareness among the people.
Rama Rao said the decisions and strategies formulated during this session are expected to help the leadership shape the party’s future actions and responses to the current political scenario in Telangana.
