Kothagudem: The BRS silver jubilee meeting to be held in Warangal on April 27 would set the direction for the party’s future, said former minister Vanama Venkateswara Rao.
The people who voted for the Congress understood its true colours within no time as the government failed on many counts. The welfare of people and development of Telangana would be possible only with the BRS, he said addressing the party workers here on Friday.
Venkateswara Rao urged the party ranks and the public to attend the BRS silver jubilee meeting and make it a grand success. He wanted the party workers to hoist pink flags in all villages in Kothagudem constituency prior to the meeting.
On April 27 the entire Telangana would turn pink. Congress’s agenda was to sell assets and raise debts. The Congress that came to power after making false promises deceived the people by failing to implement 6 guarantees, he said.
BRS leaders Vanama Raghavender, Kilaru Nageswara Rao, Manthapuri Raju Goud, Kampally Kanakesh, Pusala Viswanatham, Mallela Sriram Murthy, Kotwala Satyanarayana and others were present.
