BRS warns of legal action against fake news on KTR in Formula-E case
Despite KT Rama Rao's clarifications, certain organisations and social media channels continue to put into circulation false information, prompting the BRS to take a firm stand
Hyderabad: The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) on Saturday issued a stern warning to media channels and social media platforms spreading false information about party working president KT Rama Rao in the Formula-E case. The party asserted that legal action would be initiated against those responsible for the deliberate misinformation campaign.
Already KTR has strongly refuted these claims, asserting that they are baseless and lack factual evidence. Despite his clarifications, certain organisations and social media channels continue to put into circulation false information, prompting the BRS to take a firm stand.
In a statement, the BRS emphasised that these deliberate attempts to tarnish KTR’s reputation will not be tolerated. The party has already sent legal notices to media outlets and social media channels, demanding the immediate removal of defamatory content. The BRS legal team has warned that failure to comply will result in further legal action.
