BRSV district coordinator Anil Kumar Goud and others handing over a copy of the complaint against Union Minister Bandi Sanjay, to the Karimnagar town ACP, on Tuesday.
KARIMNAGAR: Bharat Rashtra Samithi Vidyarthi (BRSV) activists lodged a complaint with police against Union Minister of State for Home Bandi Sanjay Kumar for making defamatory comments against BRS president and former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao.
They handed over a copy of the complaint to the Karimnagar town ACP on Tuesday requesting him to take action by conducting an inquiry.
Speaking on the occasion, BRSV district coordinator Pnnam Anil Kumar Goud said that earlier Sanjay Kumar resorted to politics in the name of religion.
Now, going a step ahead, he made objectionable comments against Chandrashekhar Rao stating that the BRS chief had printed counterfeit currency notes.
Instead of serving the people, the Union Minister was making such third-rated comments. Being a Central Minister, it was ridiculous on the part of Sanjay Kumar to make such statements. Karimnagar people would refuse Sanjay Kumar if such kind of comments were repeated in the future. He would not be elected even as a corporator, Goud said.
