Hyderabad: The budget session of Telangana State Legislative Assembly and the Council will commence on March 7. The State Cabinet meeting will be convened at Pragathi Bhavan at 5 pm on March 6.
Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao took a decision in this regard following a high level meeting with his Cabinet colleagues at Pragathi Bhavan on Monday. IT Minister KT Rama Rao, Finance Minister T Harish Rao, Legislative Affairs Minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy and other officials are attending the meeting.
Harish Rao will present the budget in the Assembly. A decision on the day for presenting the budget too will be finalised shortly, while the Business Advisory Committee which will meet on the first day of the session will take a decision on the number of days that the Assembly and the Council will function for the budget session.
