Burglars decamp with gold and cash from techie’s house in Rajendranagar

Burglars targeted a techie’s residence in Bandlaguda Jagir, Rajendranagar, and escaped with 30 tolas of gold and Rs 1 lakh cash while the family was away. Police have registered a case and are analysing CCTV footage to track the culprits.

Hyderabad: Burglars struck a techie’s house at Bandlaguda Jagir in Rajendranagar on the suburb and decamped with 30 tolas of gold and cash of Rs 1 lakh on Tuesday midnight.

According to police, the incident occurred at Kismatpur when the house owner, Kiran Kumar, a software employee, had gone to his relative’s house to attend a family function on Tuesday.

Upon returning on Wednesday morning, he found the house burgled.

Based on his complaint, the Rajendranagar Police registered a case.

Forensic teams examined the scene and police are reviewing CCTV footage from the area to identify and nab the burglars.
